Зависает PCManFM - Runtu LITE 20.04.1 x64

Так зависает он при определенных условиях, может оперативка или другое железо его не устраивает. Что именно заставляет его зависать долго искать.
Не у всех эти проблемы, похоже HsH раньше с этим не сталкивался, вот и PCmanfm в сборке.
Файловый менеджер пока не меняй, подождем что скажет HsH, может он найдет решение получше.
Thunar если что хорошо подходит дполонительным файловым менеджером в системе.

А ты, после установки, никаких update-upgrade не делал? А то, может, налетело всяких новых пакетов с глюками, вот и виснет. :)

Для начала нужно определить причину "зависаний". Проверьте логи ~/.xsession-errors (текущая сессия) и ~/.xsession-errors.old (предыдущая сессия) на наличие ошибок, которые могут относиться к данному событию. Попробуйте отключить предпросмотр файлов или уменьшить допустимый для построения превью размер (меню PCManFM Правка - Параметры - Отображение).

Для перезапуска файлового менеджера не нужно перезапускать графический сервер вместе с менеджером дисплея, достаточно ограничиться командой

Потому-что считаю безальтернативным решением для данного класса сборок. По соотношению "Функционал/Размер/Потребляемые ресурсы" для дистрибутива LITE менеджера лучше нет. Согласен, что со стабильностью в некоторых случаях могут быть проблемы, но критичных я не наблюдал ни у себя, ни в отзывах других пользователей.
Давайте попробуем разобраться с причиной проблемы в вашем конкретном случае.

Я понял, спасибо, как только получу эту проблему снова - посмотрю и сообщу.

Ничего особенного в выложенном логе нет, но рабочий стол касается только vino и lxpanel.
vino - написано можно не запускать если не используется
lxpanel - сообщает о мелких ошибках, связанных с изменениями в новых версиях библиотек гнома.
