Способ решения:
Создать свой конфигурационный файл Compton.
Сохранить файл как ~ / .compton.conf.
В этот конфигурационный файл добавить:

compton -b Теперь compton будет запускаться автоматически при входе в систему.
Перезагрузить компьютер.
